First- these do not come from vegetables! These are oils that have been extracted from various seeds. The most common include rapeseed (canola oil), soybean, corn, sunflower, safflower, and peanut. Unlike coconut oil or olive oil that can be extracted by pressing, these oils have to be extracted in very unnatural ways. Cholesterol and saturated fat are essential to good health. Even now, despite the fact that heart disease, cancer and diabetes rise at an alarming rate while butter consumption is down, vegetable oil consumption is at an all time high. I can’t believe that there are only 2 weeks left in my 80 Day Obsession journey. I don’t want it to end! First off, I have to say I started this journey because I wanted and needed a change and that is exactly what I got but not in the way you may think! Yes there are some changes in my body- my clothes fit different and some are too big in areas but I weigh the same. At first I thought I was losing too much weight until I weighed myself then realized my body composition just changed. This just goes to show you that you can’t go by that number on the scale, in fact I do not own a scale. I am so much stronger now and can get through the workouts better. And did you know that strength training helps to balance out hormones as well as protects against osteoporosis?
